Futuremark’s PCMark is a software that helps you run benchmarking tests, and has run successfully on Windows XP and Windows Vista PCs. The latest version, PCMark 7, is a full suite that helps test and benchmark for Windows 7. The suite conducts a host of testing including storage capacity, computation, web browsing, and so on. Additionally, it also runs tests for fun features that include image and video manipulation, gaming, and so on.
PCMark 7 has three different product options depending on the usage:
- PCMark 7 Basic Edition: This is a completely free product, and is available for download. It gives you unlimited runs of the test, and helps you search for and compare results online. It allows you to store one search result online.
- PCMark 7 Advanced Edition: Priced at $39.95, apart from the basic features, it also includes all 7 tests with over 25 individual workload. You can store unlimited number of results online, hide results from others view, and manage online results.
- PCMark 7 Professional Edition: This is a licensed version for commercial computer testing priced at $995.00. It provides all the features of the Advanced Edition, and additionally provides command line automation, and priority support.
